HUGO LIU

America On-Line Fellow, MIT's Media Laboratory Creator, Synesthetic Cookbook

Hugo’s work in artificial intelligence and design aesthetics has been written up in periodicals such as Technology Review, Slashdot, and the New York Times. He has lectured and published over 30 academic articles on topics ranging from computational linguistics and human reasoning, to emotion, art, and creativity. He continues his research on the cognition-inspired modeling of perspective, culture, and aesthetics at MIT’s Media Lab and earned his Ph.D in media arts and sciences from MIT in May of 2006.
