JEFFERY HENDERSON

Executive Chef, Café Bellagio, Best-selling Author

Chef Jeffery Henderson is the author of the New York Times best selling memoir “Cooked: From the Streets to the Stove, From Cocaine to Foie Gras.” Chef Jeff is the first African-American chef to ever run a restaurant at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. He currently serves as the Executive Chef at the Café Bellagio and is the recipient of such accolades as Las Vegas Chef of the Year and the Culinary Award of Excellence.

Chef Jeff has appeared on many of the leading talk shows, including “The Oprah Winfrey Show, “Good Morning America,” “The Montel Williams Show” and “Mike and Juliet in the Morning”. Articles about Chef Jeff have also appeared in, People magazine, USA Today, Newsweek, The New York Post, Ebony, Essence, Black Enterprise and many more. Radio appearances include NPR’s “All Things Considered”, The Wendy Williams Show and The Gayle King Show.

Film rights to his powerful, bestselling memoir, Cooked were optioned in a pre-emptive, seven figure deal by Will Smith and James Lassiter of Overbrook Entertainment, the team at Escape Artist, a film production at Sony.
