But before you go and download the program, a warning to the curious: If you are caught using cheat engine on Roblox, you may be IP banned or a permanently banned from the game. If you are banned, all your stats and items will be lost. Use cheat engine at your own risk.
What is Cheat Engine?
Cheat Engine is open-source (means it’s free to use) software designed for the Windows operating system. Cheat engine is also called a hex editor or debugger. It scans and modifies memory processes of an online game like Roblox. Players enter a value for the process they want to modify and the program does the editing. For example, players who want to increase their money will enter the amount they want in the appropriate box and let cheat engine modify the online stats. Cheat engine also has manipulation tools that can zoom in and out, create textures and make you see through walls.
How to Use Cheat Engine on Roblox
There are many variables that you can modify on Roblox, but we’ll use Robux in this example. First, download the latest version of cheat engine from the official website (http://cheatengine.org) and install it. Log in to your Roblox account and run cheat engine. Click “Open” inside cheat engine (it’s in the upper left corner). A window will appear. Look for the browser you’re using to run Roblox. If you’re using Firefox, look for Firefox.exe and click on it.
Now select which variable you want to modify. For example, if you have 4 Robux and want to increase it, multiply 4 by 8 and enter “32” in the value field. The multiplier is 8 for some reason. Click “New Scan” to start the scan. Go back to your Roblox account and increase your Robux manually this time. If you have 4 Robux, figure out a way to get 1 Robux to increase the total to 5 Robux. Go back to cheat engine and enter “40” in the value field (5 x 8 = 40). Click “Next Scan.”
A value will appear in the box on the left. Select this value. Next, highlight the value in the box at the bottom of the screen and enter a new value multiplied by 8. For example, if you enter 8,000 in the box, you will get 1,000 Robux. Let cheat engine run in the background and play Roblox as you normally would.
Speed Hack with Cheat Engine
Another variable you can modify on Roblox is walking speed. This is a basic cheat engine hack that will boost your character’s walking speed. Log into your Roblox account and run cheat engine. Select “Roblox” from the cheat engine process list. Find the “speed hack” variable and check it. Players find that setting the value at 75.5 or lower works best. Click “Apply.” When you go back to your game, you will see that your walking speed has just increased to match the value you’ve set in cheat engine.
Roblox Tycoons Money Hack with Cheat Engine
You can get easy money on the Roblox Tycoons game using cheat engine. Run Roblox and cheat engine. Go to Roblox and look for a tycoon with a “donate” tool. You need the donate tool for the hack to work. Start the game. Go to cheat engine and select “Roblox” from the list. Uncheck “hex” and set scan type to “exact value” and value type to “4 bytes.” Enter the exact amount of cash you currently have in the hex box and click “First Scan.” Wait for cheat engine to scan the game.
When scanning is complete, you’ll see a list of addresses in the left window. Go back to Roblox and manually change your cash amount by either losing or gaining cash. For example, if you have $100 and gained $5, enter $105 in the value box in cheat engine. Click “Next Scan.” Wait for the scan to complete. You’ll see another list of addresses in the left window. The goal is to leave only one address in the window. Keep on changing your cash value manually, entering the new value in cheat engine and clicking “Next Scan” until you see only one result.
The value should match the cash value in your Roblox game. Double click on the address to make it appear on the bottom panel. Double click the number and change it to the amount of cash you want. The amount should show up in your game. Now you’ll need the “donate” tool. Pick a player and donate a cash amount to any player. The goal is to get your cash value to change. If you see the cash value change after donating, you can go ahead and buy anything you want.
Change Roblox Codes with Cheat Engine
You can also modify Roblox scripts or codes using cheat engine. To do this, run cheat engine and select “Roblox [Place 1]” from the process list. Open it and you’ll see a text box. Type in:

Click “First Scan” and wait for the scan to complete. You should see only one result. Right click on the result and select “Browse.” Search for the variable/s you want to modify. For example, if you want to increase your health, look for the “MaxHealth =” code. Replace the current value with the value you want. Press spacebar to delete the old value and then type in a new value. Make sure to save your changes. After saving, run Roblox to see your modifications in action.
As you can see, cheat engine is a powerful editor that radically changes the Roblox gameplay and gives players unfair advantages. It makes sense why moderators will ban any user caught using cheat engine on Roblox. Again, use cheat engine at your own risk.
